Wheel Alignment Problems-When and Why Do You Need a Wheel Alignment?

Wheel Alignment Problems

Wheel Alignment Problems, is your car pulling to the left or right?

The words wheel alignment  will be heard thousands of times a year by any member of the motoring fraternity. One of the most common first signs that your wheel alignment is out, will be that your steering wheel will be out of line and not feel to in a straight line, hence when you are cruising along your car feels to be pulling to one side or the other.

If you should happen notice that your vehicle pulls significantly . Either, to the left or right . Especially, when you are driving along in your car . On  a straight, flat road. hence with not much wind about. Then you will probably having  Alignment Problems. Another bad sign is when you notice that your  tyres are wearing off. Especially at the edges of the tread area. Then this means that your alignment will need adjusting . Of course,, to correct your  Alignment Problems . As a result, you should take your car to a local tyre dealer or a good  garage. Especially, in your local area to have its wheel alignment checked. of course, this is an easy job for your tyre guy to perform. Especially. if your vehicle’s wheels are not properly aligned. Therefore, it will cause abnormal and premature wearing of your tyres.

When this happens it is best to take to your car  it into the local  Service centre or Tyre shop, to have your (wheel alignment or sometimes known as tracking) adjusted.

This can usually be done while you wait or when you have new tyres fitted. Incidentally, we now have a brand new 4 wheel alignment centre installed. Of course we are now able to offer a much better alignment service. Because of  this we are able to offer a much more “four wheel” alignment service. Of course we can also keep down the price of the regular front wheel alignment service. So, having your alignment carried out on a modern alignment centre that operates by laser beams. Should only be charged between £30 and £40 for the job doing. Of course, the  more expensive machines can also give you a print out to keep after the work is done.

Some cars require a 4 wheel alignment, but you will find this out by asking you Auto centre to check this out in the cars manual or their Autodata computer data-base…

Hydrogen Fuel cells-GREEN DRIVING- Hydrogen Cars Look Better for the FUTURE

Hydrogen Fuel cells cars could be here sooner than you think ?

Of course, plans are already being set out to build a network of Hydrogen Fuel Cells filling stations. These filling stations will start out across London . Of course, and then across the whole of the UK. In my opinion this will be great news.So these cars will be sold as an alternative to the Lithium-Ion  battery cars. That are out at the moment and of course the so called dirty oil based fuels. Such as petrol and diesel.

The car is being developed by Hyundai. Naturally, the company hope to build over a thousand of these cars by 2015. The Hydrogen Fuel cells engine has been developed in many different countries. I am very impressed by the work done in Australia at the RMIT University in Melbourne Australia. I have linked a video demonstrating how an Hydrogen Fuel cells engine works. Made by RMIT University…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7_QYTAi1-E

Hydrogen makes up about 75% of the Universe that we all live in.

We all know that eventually fossil fuels will run out. Although the timing of this has probably been extended. Significantly, by the advent of “Fracking”. Both in the USA and here in the UK,(although on a much smaller scale). This may have prolonged the life of the combustion engined car .So, that we are all familiar with, or at least be part of the fuels mix in the long run.

Of course hydrogen is a much more efficient fuel than fossil fuels. The process of passing hydrogen through a fuel cell is much more effective than the petrochemicals. Consequently, used in the conventional fossil fuel engines. That we still use today in large numbers. Also unlike the electric powered cars, hydrogen can store the energy that it creates.

Another great advantage of Fuel cells is that it produces “zero”emissions and will not pollute the Planet giving us all a greener future, this has got to be the way forward and not the all electric cars that a been produced at the moment, although I still think that the electric car will be part of the mix.

Six hydrogen cars filling stations for London to start with

The main aim will be to open over a million Hydrogen Fuel cells facilities and eventually the hydrogen pumps will integrate with regular pumps selling petrol and diesel on the forecourts of large companies such as Salisbury and Morrison’s super markets, who are showing great interest in the new program of hydrogen expansion. The expected cost to fill your car with hydrogen will be around the £40 mark which will give you about 400 miles in the new Hyundai ix 35. This will be about the same range as the conventional fossil fuel engined cars, and a great advantage over the electric cars that at the moment can only go short distances before requiring a recharge of their car batteries.
The new ix3 5 drives without any noise and only emits water from the exhaust. It has no gearbox and has drive selector say like an automatic gearbox.

It will take time establish itself but to me this technology, Hydrogen Fuel cells, will be a winner, it sounds almost too good to be true ?

Rolls Royce MOT-Beautiful Blue Wraith in for an MOT test

This Roller will probably be the nicest car that we have had in the garage for its This magnificent car was brought into my garage for an Rolls Royce MOT. We were very pleased to see such a fine specimen of a vintage Bentley Wraith.

This magnificent Rolls Royce Wraith  car a 1939 drop head coupe is one of only 220 in the World. Importantly, and was designed by a James Young and Company of Bromley London. Later bought by Jack Barclay a London based Rolls Royce dealer. This magnificent car was brought into my garage for an Rolls Royce MOT. We were very pleased to see such a fine specimen of a vintage Bentley Wraith model. Although the new DVLA MOT Rules state that these cars do not have to have a Rolls Royce MOT any more. Most owners still go through the procedure because of insurance purposes.

It was in 1931 that the then “Rolls-Royce company” bought out ” Bentley Motors” . Consequently, the whole works were moved from the Bentley factory in Cricklewood London NW2. Of course, to Derby, in the North midlands of the UK.

Bentley cars that were produced there are were commonly referred to as the “Derby-Bentley s”. These cars were first introduced in 1933. Hence, the first of these Bentley s that were made in Derby was simply known as the 3 1/2 Litre. Subsequently, were very similar in design and looks to the Rolls Royce 20/25. Thus, that was made in the same year. The Bentley cars very soon became the more powerful and sporty versions of the  Rolls Royce. These 3.5 litre engined Bentley’s that was produced in Derby was not in the same technology class as the ones produced in Cricklewood, London.

In 1936 the Derby made Bentley’s and the new Rolls Royce were fitted with 4.257 litre engine with a four speed gearbox.

this vastly improved the cars performance giving the owner far more acceleration power and making the car feel very sporty to drive. These cars were made until the beginning of World war 2

Production lasted until the outbreak of World War II, with over 1200 examples produced many of these cars are still running today, like the fine example that was presented to us here in Halifax UK.
