Pirelli Van Tyres-New Tyre Range for Camper Van Tyres from Pirelli Tyres

Famous Italian tyre-makers Pirelli Van Tyres have brought out a new range of tyres

Meeting the needs of the modern van and the new van driver. Vans can now do much faster speeds with higher payloads and so need the van tyres to cope with these conditions. Some vans can now carry payloads of up to 3.5 tonnes and require tyres with the capacity to carry these higher loads at faster speeds.

Pirelli Van Tyres “Chrono” van tyre

The new Chrono tyre has been developed by Pirelli Van Tyres .To cope with the demands of the smaller type delivery vans such as the Ford Transit Connect. These smaller types of vans have to deal with increased robustness. While driving at higher speeds. These vans have higher comfort levels for the drivers. In fact, modern vans are not far behind cars in the comfort stakes. Therefore the tyres have to be more flexible. They contain the correct compound for when the vans are loaded and unloaded. At the same time, the tyre must be able to carry loads at speed while also keeping a good mileage record; these vans are working vans, and tyre economy comes into the equation.

The new  Chrono Pirelli Van Tyres lives up to all these standards and is available in wheel sizes from 14inch to 17inch.

Pirelli Van Tyres “Chrono” Camper Van Tyre.
This next tyre in the Italian tyre maker’s range is created for the camper van type vehicle. Camper van tyres are also a must for the Motor Home sector. These tyres have a reinforced structure specially designed for these cars. This structure increases the tyre life from the risk of so-called “flat spots”, which happen when the camper is parked, and then proceeds on its journey at speed.
This tyre also gives improved stability during cornering with higher levels of grip. All in all an excellent product to buy for your tourer and motorhome. The Pirelli Van Tyres come in sizes for 15 inches and 16-inch wheels.

Pirelli “Chrono”4 seasons and “Chrono” Winter tyres

They have also developed the “4 seasons” tyre for use in a regular winter a little of all kinds of weather as in a typical winter. The winter tyre is made to cope with more severe conditions. Load and speed capabilities are of the same standards as the other “Pirelli Van Tyres Chrono” products in the range. Both are excellent products coping with all a winter can throw at them.

VW Camper Vans on show at Piece Hall, Halifax, Yorkshire UK

Although this was a couple of years ago, it became a costly trip?

When I set off on the Sunday morning, the weather was dull and foggy and I almost stayed at home. Anyway I decided to go along and set off with my trusty camera. When I arrived in Halifax I decided to park my car in the Railway Station car park. It was Sunday and very quiet.

I parked up and walked the short distance up to Piece Hall (a famous Halifax landmark). The Camper Vans and other old VW’s were all parked up in rows for the visitors to admire. The show was courtesy of the Bradford VW club and they put on a splendid show.

I was amazed at the different classic cars and VW Camper Vans that were on display and began to take some pictures.

The owners were very friendly.Of course, and were willing to tell me all about their vehicles. Including, the hours of restoration work that they had taken. Hence, to bring their VW’s up to such high standards.

My favourites though were the VW  Vans. Of course, the interiors had been fitted out to extremely high standards. Using only quality fabrics and materials.

Unfortunately it began to rain; I had not come prepared for the rain. So decided to return home. Of course, eager to find out how my photos had turned out.

When I returned to my car. I found that I had a fixed penalty parking fine attached to the wipers. I just hate this kind of thing. Looking round I could see no warning signs about illegal parking. Because, the trains in Halifax are far and few between on Sundays. So, the car park was half empty.

When I returned home I uploaded my images onto my computer. Then I contacted the railway police fines department. They assured me that there was a warning sign. But of course, it was high up on a lamp post. Making it difficult to see.

Needless to say I had to pay the expensive £80 fine. But have not used a train since, so the rail company are the real losers.
