Eric Roberts’ insight:

 Performance Yokohama

Lighter tyres

In the mad and never ending rush to create and manufacture a light weight tyre, the tyre manufacturers have to come up with some new components in order to make their tyre

products lighter and greener.

This also applies to the car manufacturers who are constantly on the look out to manufacture much lighter, more energy efficient vehicle.

Yokohama Tyre has risen to the occasion and has brought out the second-generation ADVAN ENV-R2 as the Official Spec Tyre that will be used in the 2011 Patron GT3

Challenge by Yokohama tyres race series and the GT3 Challenge Class endurance series.

The ENV-R2 will be put through its paces and power a fleet of Porsche 911 GT 3 race cars at leading North American. tracks, such as Sebring, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta. The new cheap tyres are much lighter and reduce the amount of fuel that the cars use by at least 20 % and increases recycling capability while still performing at the same high level of the previous tyre compounds.

This is one the many reasons that we became a Yokohama tyre dealer and we highly recommend this product as a much lighter performance tyre, that we can sell at  cheap  tyres rate. Since writing this blog. Then Yokohama decided to take another junction when it came to advertising and supporting small businesses.
