Waste Tyre Road Revolution

Waste Tyre Road Revolution   Rubberized asphalt concrete (RAC) is a proven road paving material that has been used in California since the 1970s. It is made by blending ground tire rubber with asphalt binder which is then mixed with conventional aggregate materials. CalRecycle promotes RAC because it is const-effective, safe, and environmentally friendly.

This came as large surprise to me? the fact that waste tyre rubber has been mixed with road asphalt. Hence, to lay and repair new roads.Accordingly we have started running road trials here in the UK. Of course, I dont want to be an old grump? but California City have been using this system since 1970. Why not just trust the findings from California???.
