The problem of people selling Unsafe Partworn Tyres that are not fit for purpose will not go away unless strong enforcement is used backed by the law. This article from the “Tire Revue”

This tyre was bought as a used tyre and only lasted two days, when the owner took it back he was politely told to go away, he then came to us a bought a new one.

points out the problem facing cash strapped motorists in the USA.

We must keep on trying to stamp out the people who are selling these death traps. here in the UK we even import the old tyres that Germany taken off their cars, what a stupid state of affairs it makes me feel sick, we also fit Unsafe Partworn Tyres from junk yards, not knowing anything about it. We just fit these Unsafe Partworn Tyres onto our cars, not knowing what dangers lurk inside them  and they could blow out at any time. Good luck to the RMA in America.
