Wheel Balancing Problems

So you love your job, and your family life is great. Congratulations! You have achieved balance. But can you say the same for your wheels? You can tell if yo… (Wheel Balancing Problems feel vibrations under your seat or steering wheel?

Eric Roberts‘s insight:

Wheel Balancing Problems

So, this video shows exactly how we balance a wheel. Some wheel balances  are much more sophisticated than others. However, they are all built on the same principals. Hence to achieve the same end result a good smooth ride ! Wheel balancing is carried out on every single tyre that we fit at Pellon tyres. Including any strip and fits or puncture repairs. Although this video is from the USA. Of course the equipment is international. So we do the same thing using the same type of wheel balancing machines.

Wheel Balancing Problems

Wheel Balancing Problems will shake your Blueberry Toyota Steering Wheel (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Wheel Balancing Problems are more noticeable when you are driving on the motorway (freeway). Significantly, it can be detected by a strange vibrating feeling. Of course, coming through the vehicles steering wheel. Especially at a certain speed. Usually, say between 50 and 60 mph. You can often drive through the vibrating feeling. Unpleasant, but generally it will not go away, and is most annoying.

Sometimes Wheel Balancing Problems can make you feel the vibrations coming from the cars seat

So, this usually the rear wheels which are out of balance. Other Wheel Balancing  problems with your vehicle can cause a shaking through the steering wheel. Generally though it will be the wheel balancing that causes the vibrations and other balancing problems. Commonly, the main  cause is a lost balance weight. Say, after your wheel has caught the kerb (sidewalk edge) . Logically, the weight may have come off and  this is the most common cause.

Another cause of out of balance wheels can be a buckled alloy wheel. Significantly, caused by the pot-hole problem that we are all having to endure. So, to combat this we have invested in a special machine. Of course to straighten bent alloy wheels back to their original shape. I will keep our customers informed in future blogs.

Shock Absorbers-How to tell if your car needs New Ones – The Globe and Mail

shock absorbers

This car needs more than Shock Absorbers? but you get the idea.

How to tell if your car needs new shocks The Globe and Mail A local tire repair shop (I had a tire rotation and an oil change) told me that I should consider new shock absorbers and struts – approximate cost, including parts, labour and taxes, plus a wheel…

eric roberts‘s insight:

The car in the picture needs more than shock absorbers

Cheap Shock absorbers tend swing in and out of fashion? About twenty years it was all the rage to have your shocks checked out and replace, much the

same as wheel alignment is today. All the large equipment manufacturers were making machines to enable garages to check the shock on cars that were in for a menu car service.

shock absorbers

Monroe Shock Absorbers

he role of the cars shock absorber is to keep the car’s tyres in constant  contact with the road, giving the car optimum grip, when the car is cornering and braking. Shock absorbers are part of the cars suspension, so if the shocks are worn, the vehicle’s ride and comfort is compromised, and you will get the feeling of drifting when cornering and general insecurity when driving.

I remember visiting a motor equipment show in London; I think it was in Earls Court. One of the companies exhibiting at the time was SUN Garage Equipment. SUN were a well-known Garage Equipment Suppliers, well established company and had on display a wonderful looking shock absorbers testing machine.

I asked for a demonstration and was very impressed with it. The machine worked by the car driving onto plates and a shaker, driven by an electric motor shook one axle at a time. The machine then printed out a sort of impression of how the shock  absorbers performed, if the lines were close together and tight looking then the Car Shock Absorbers were alright, but if they were sort of wobbly and not consistent then the shocks would worn out and needed replacing Shock Absorber Replacement was a lucrative business for us the Sun machine was very accurate and popular amongst our customers. In those days we used a few different makes but we became impressed shock absorbers, monroe shockerswith a brand called Monroe Shock Absorbers and tended to stick to this brand, for the quality and also we had a good deal from the local factor, which helped in our decision to fit them.

I was most impressed with this machine as it gave a print out and a visual aid to the customer. It was only a matter of days when I ordered one and had it delivered and installed. What a great asset this proved to be. I believe that VOSA the UK MOT governing body are considering a similar thing, with vibrating plates to test the shock absorbers

VW Camper Van Batteries+Make Sure To Fit The Right Batteries+On Your Cherished VW Camper Van.

VW Camper Van Tyres

"VW Camper Van Tyres

VW Camper Van Tyres and a free battery check

There is no doubt that camper vans have become very popular.Including the iconic VW camper vans. Of course ,camper vans are technically self-propelled vehicles. So, that have been adjusted according to the needs and specification of the campers. Many are designed to the owners specific needs. In fact one of my sons Aaron has just purchased a splendid red one. These vans are equipped with a broad range of features and amenities. Of course, that will introduce a more convenient camping activity. VW campers do hold their value. Even second hand you can pay between £15000 and £20000 for a good one. Many still go for camping vans for lease. Because, buying a new one would require a big sum of money. Therefore out of reach for some people.

Some of the benefits of Hiring Camping Vans

Compared to normal camping in a tent. Then hiring camping vans will surely offer you more freedom with superb comfort. Of course, these vans have comfortable seats. Equipped with a functional entertainment system. Consequently, that you can use to pass time in say bad weather.

Campers rent and lease a van so to try them out. Hence before going out and buying. In fact thats exactly the thing that I am going to do myself?Another great advantage of leasing a campervan is the accessibility of home-like comforts. Most of these vans are very well equipped. Including,a functional kitchen, dining table set, and a portable toilet.

So if you are traveling off/grid and in the middle of nowhere. You do not have to be concerned about where your next meal will come from. Or how you will attend to your personal needs (There are usually bushes about though)? Of course, everything that you need are already inside the van.

One obvious thing to check out would be the condition of your camper van battery. Even if you hire a van then the battery should be checked.

Hiring a camping van will allow you more camping freedom. You can virtually take the van  anywhere you want. Traveling with camping vans will definitely give way for a more fun-filled and exciting outdoor experience. Including travelling on the continent. As a result, I see millions of camper vans and motorhomes in France and surrounding countries.

Camper vans are a better driving experience

Unlike when traveling in an your every day car. Then these vans are capable of providing a more rewarding riding experience. As long as you have the correct seat belts fitted in the rear of the van. Then your family can sit in the rear and perhaps pass the time away playing cards and games. Of course while you drive to your next destination.

If you have children traveling with you, they will feel more at ease in the rear with chairs and a table. If it is a really long journey then there are also beds where they can easily doze off. While waiting to arrive on your travel destination. During long trips, the van can also serve as a convenient place. For you to park up and where you can spend the night.

Recycling Li-On batteries-Lithium-Ion- electric car batteries- to provide power to homes.

Recycling Li-On batteries

Lithium-Ion batteries may be used to store solar energy in the future as a form of Recycling Li-On batteries

Post updated  18/3/2014

Motor-Trades Insight Recycling Li-On batteries

Recycling electric car batteries to provide power to homes could mean ‘an end …

eric roberts‘s insight:

We are already talking about a second use for the old electric car batteries ?

Four partner companies in the North East of England, they are Opus Green, SR Technologies, together with Tadea and Gateshead College. They are looking at the possibility of using Recycling Li-On batteries that will be changed at the end of life period after say ten years, on such cars as the Nissan Leaf.

The companies are trying to come with ideas about the use of Recycling Li-On batteries in conjunction  with solar panels and wind turbines, to store energy for use at night time, rather than just put the electricity used into the National Grid. We have such solar panels on our roof and the electricity generated is transmitted via inverter and an electric meter into the grid here in the UK.

All this working project will be carried out at Gateshead College research and development department at Barmston Road in Sunderland, in the North East of England. The EV batteries will be tested on sight at the college and will be used to power equipment that will be used on demonstration. In my opinion I cannot see why it should fail, once they found a way for the solar panels to charge up Lithium-Ion batteries. I know that there have been many other types of experiments in this field even using large banks of Trojan  batteries can be made to work-.

See more at…http://www.tadea-uk.com/News/A-second-chance-for-EV-batteries-

“Malcolm Potter, Project Manager at Tadea said “This is a very exciting project for tadea to be involved in and as it’s the first of its kind within in UK to focus on how to extend the life of these batteries it’s hoped that the results will lead to further developmental work in this field.”

Big Five Tyre Makers+Back in Front where they belong+Big tyremakers are regaining their grip

Big Five Tyre Makers

Big Five Tyre Makers

Big Five Tyre Makers

There is no doubt that in my long presence in the tyre industry. Then the top five tyre companies have always been in contention. Hence, for the top spot.

Whether it be on numbers sold or quality then the top five manufacturers have kept in front. Therefore the likes of Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Bridgestone and Pirelli.

One of the main reasons is because premium car manufacturers tend to stick to premium car tyres. Hence, for the original equipment tyres they choose.

Consequently, there has begun to be a wider variety of OE tyres chosen in the mass market car sector. Previously, most car manufacturers have stuck to the top five tyre manufacturers.

Big Five Tyre Makers could it change

As this has already started to change. manufacturers that were previously labelled as “mid range” tyres are now appearing on new car models. Especially,if the country of origin is the same. Indeed this is how the big five started out. With Michelin supplying the mass car markets in France. Including Citroen and Renault. Pirelli had a good foothold with supplying Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars.

Of course in Germany then the huge car makes of Mercedes and  BMW, not forgetting VW were supplied by the giant Continental conglomerate. Goodyear had a firm hold of the North American market, before going global. Japan cars were coming out as original equipment on famous car brands such as Toyota and Nissan.

In recent years the mid-range and budget tyre market has increased with world demand as the car industry has flourished. Including, the introduction of the new tyre labeling laws. This manifested itself with the shock that some of the budget brands had just as good a rating as the big 5. Causing some embarrassment to say the least. Going forward this could very well encourage mass market car manufacturers to look closer at the budget brand tyres. Especially, if they have similar good looking results on the new labels.

We at Pellon Tyres have noticed that consumers will take these labels into consideration when choosing tyres. In my opinion this could lead to the likelihood to see a change in the original equipment tyres. of course, that mass market car manufacturers may choose?

Car makers under pressure to bring down costs

Under constant pressure to bring costs down, car manufacturers may feel able to justify to consumers. That the economy brands will deliver the same performance as the more expensive mid-range. Not forgetting the premium brands. In my opinion though the top five companies also lead the way in tyre technology. As a result, they are always looking at innovative ways of improving their tyre products,

A great example of this is the tremendous effort that Pirelli have put in to the F1 racing scene. This involvement has given great confidence to the general public  when buying Pirelli tyres.

Consequently, there is actually much more to a tyre’s performance than just wet braking. Including rolling resistance and external noise, but it is often first impressions that count. Especially when people are trying to save money. Of course, the fact that surveys have so far shown that many drivers don’t even know about the tyre label. Although this is improving in recent times.

To summarize, I think that the tyre buying public will support the better products that the big five can offer. Including the growing mass SUV market. Some of the tyre sizes are over 20 inch and require great skills to manufacture tyres that are quite whilst giving great performances on faster models such as the BMW’s and Jaguars.

Big tyremakers are regaining their grip

Yokohama Tyres investment-to give Pellon Tyres a 25 years Celebrations Facelift

Yokohama Tyres investment

Yokohama tyres are also interested in promoting the small tyre dealer with some Yokohama Tyres investment , they believe as I do that the local independent tyre dealer

Yes that’s right in 2014 (not far off now!) I have been the proud owner of Pellon Tyre and Autocentre here in Halifax, West Yorkshire in the UK.I just can not believe where the time has gone, my kids are all grown up and we have been here for almost 25 years and loved every minute. As an independent tyre business and garage it has been a great time in the tyre industry, with many changes taking place.

Yokohama Tyres investment

Yokohama Tyres investment facelift in Halifax uk

In my opinion. Computerization of the business and the internet have had the greatest impact. So on the way that modern garages are run. It has been fascinating see the massive changes. In climate change that has entered into the world of auto’s.

Yokohama Tyres investment

Changing and re-shaping the way we think and the massive drive towards lower emissions. Now the development of the electric car. Consequently, and all the implications that will go with that.

I am pleased to say that as a small independent garage. We have taken the right roads. Still able to confirm that we are very busy. Despite all the competition from the huge national companies . So that are able to expand (and are able to get cash to enable them to do so). We as a small business can not get cash from the banks. Thus, a terrible state of affairs.

Car Tyre Prices have plummeted in recent times. So due to internet competition. Subsequently, we are still able to compete. One of the positives for me has been the formation of Point-S, here in the UK. Point-S has been very strong in Europe for over 30 years. Recently been introduced in the UK. Point-S gives us many things. Because it makes us feel as if we part of a large group (which we are) and not isolated as one depot in Halifax.

Enter Yokohama tyres

Being a member of Point-S enabled us to buy from the tyre manufacturers direct, and not through the wholesalers, this gave us better prices and also target rebates. This has enabled us to retain some of the margins that have been eroded by the internet competition and also makes me feel more secure going into the future.Another important part of dealing with the tyre manufacturers, is that they are willing to help with other aspects of the business, such as promotional work and display materials.

This is where Yokohama tyres online come into the picture. Apart from a great range of tyre products, Yokohama tyres are also interested in promoting the small tyre dealer with some Yokohama Tyres investment , they believe as I do that the local independent tyre dealer has a part to play in the big picture. So I was taken a back when they offered to re-design my depot frontage and reception.

This would also coincide with our 25 years anniversary next year ,only a few months away in 2014. Yokohama tyres are a top class product and we at Pellon tyres feel honoured to sell their tyres and work in partnership along with the guys at Point-S. I have included some images of what the depot will look like when the work is completed.

This Yokohama Tyres investment facelift has added a great new facial look to our tyre shop. The Yokohama Tyres investment also included our reception area, which is now a much brighter place for our customers to relax in.

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY- Regularly Checking your Cars Brakes Could Save Your Life ?

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY

Along with your tyres , your car brakes are the most important (and sometimes most neglected) part of your car. I have been guilty of neglecting my brakes. Especially, when I was a young man. When I was a young mechanic, I borrowed a car from my then boss Peter.

Peter said that I could but I must check the car brakes. Also. the engine levels before setting off on my journey. I was heading for Blackpool. So, a seaside resort on the West coast of the UK. On our return home we started to pass through a town called Preston.

I was doing the statutory speed of 30 mph and was approaching a pedestrian crossing. Of course I should have had to stop. But, when I pressed the brake pedal. Then there was nothing there.Hence, the pedal went straight to the floor boards.

Consequently, I had to swerve the car to miss a guy walking across the crossing. Ending up on the pavement (side-walk). I rapidly pumped the pedal and managed to get some brakes. Thus, on the pedal. Luckily, the vehicle came to a stop. My  friends and I managed to push the car to a garage filling station. Of course, a hundred yards down the road.

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY

I lifted the bonnet (hood) only to find that the car brake fluid was at zero level.So. in the fluid reservoir. I felt a cold chill down my spine. Because, I remembered what my boss Peter had said. Just the day before we set off. We managed to buy some Tesco Brake Fluid and topped up the reservoir.

The car brakes pumped about half way up. Luckily the car would stop when I pressed the pedal. So, we limped home back to Yorkshire UK.Subsequently, a rather terrifying experience. Of course, which I vowed would never happen again. Lessons were learned that day. As a result, I am going to spell out a few important things about the care of your brakes. Hence, for you to understand. Before you embark on a journey or indeed at any time that you own a car.

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY-Your brakes are a life saver

The British MOT test has been a great step forward towards the safety of our cars and our roads. When your car is having it’s annual MOT test we check everything on that car ( to the  VOSA MOT test specifications). One of the problems of old was the checking of your car brake pipes.

Brake pipes connect all your four wheels braking system and the cylinders and brake pedal, and are fixed under the car, exposed to all the elements. They are protected by a special coating of wax-oil or sometimes just grease.

Despite all the protection. The Corroded Brake Pipes would rust and then start to leak the brake fluid, eventually causing the brakes to fail, similar to what happened to me in Preston.

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY for corrosion

The MOT test makes sure that all your brake pipes (lines) are in good working order and if not the car will fail the test and the pipes will have to be replaced. If you are not sure about the condition of your brake pipes you can get them checked out at your local Unipart Car Care Centre, free of charge, or the local garage that you use at the moment.

car brakes,brake pipes

Rotted brake pipes found on an MOT test examination

You must always check the brake fluid in the reservoir under your bonnet and top it up if required with the correct fluid. Check your brake pedal it should feel nice and solid, if it goes too far down then have yours checked by a professional garage or mechanic, don’t take risks, you should not have to pump your pedal to get a good brake.

You brake fluid should be changed every so often, this can be done when you have your car serviced, your local garage will be able to ascertain when, by looking it up on his service
computer for your model of car, we use the Autodata system for checking out the fluid change times.

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY Including the Fluid Levels

Also you should check your Disc Brakes and Car Brake Pads. These are the parts that constantly wear out and need replacing with Brake Pipe Kits when they get down to a certain thickness.

When the pads wear down to the the metal part of the pads, then this is when you can hear a loud grinding noise that frightens the driver to death. Once again if this happens then you should have your car brakes checked by a professional mechanic or your local garage.

Once again if you have your car serviced when you have your annual MOT test then your brakes will be checked and should be fine for the next year to come. If your brake pedal does not feel right or goes further down than it should before you get a brake, then have the car checked out do not continue to drive before the car is checked by an expert.

CHECK YOUR CAR BRAKES REGULARLY- Thanks Eric Roberts…www.mot-halifax.co.uk

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax+Three reasons why wheel alignment is in so much demand

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax

With modern steering and braking, becoming more accurate. Then wheel alignment is becoming more and more crucial. Hence, for the correct handling of your car.

As a result, it takes only a small misalignment to create problems with your vehicle. Which is why proper four wheel alignment should be carried out on your car. Simply put, all of combined components of your steering mechanism that help your vehicle to keep in a straight line are only corrected by having a wheel alignment.

Why is Four wheel alignment Halifax important?

Improper wheel alignment can effect driving performance as well as cost you money. Total 4 wheel alignment sets all four wheels positioned straight ahead. Including your steering wheel. The steering wheel gives you the first sign of an out of aligned steering geometry. The first sign to the customer, is that the car pulls to the left or the right.

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax

Whilst driving, your vehicles steering can also have a feeling of looseness or wandering. All of these signs can be corrected with a total alignment check. When corrected then your steering geometry will be corrected to the car manufacturers specifications. Of course, when the alignment is corrected then your will feel good again. Steering correctly and pulling to the left or right.

Another of the signs of wheel misalignment is uneven or excessive tyre wear. Therefore, if your vehicle is not aligned properly, your tyres can show premature Four Wheel Alignment Halifaxwear. Usually on the inside or outside of your tyres tread area. This is because your car is not driving in a correct straight line. Hence, your tyres are sort of being dragged against their will. Thus, causing to wear off on the tread edges.

So, by having your vehicle aligned properly. It corrects any rolling resistance that affect your tyres. Another, fact worth looking at is that when your wheels are out of alignment. Then the tyres are causing a resistance between the car and the road. Because of the dragging affect. Believe it or not this means that your car engine is doing extra work to push the car along. This extra work then increases the amount of fuel that the car needs.

Having your cars wheel alignment correctly set up will help you drive more safely. Of course, you will not be consistently battling against your steering wheel to keep the car in a straight line.

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax

Four Wheel Alignment Halifax- recommended

Simply put, your front wheels “steer” or drive the vehicle while the rear wheels “direct” the vehicle. Four-wheel alignment solves handling problems by referencing all four wheels to a common center line. As a result of say an accident in the car then it is more likely or not that the cars alignment will need correcting. Also hitting one of our millions of potholes will knock out your alignment.

It takes only a small misalignment to create problems with your vehicle, which is why proper wheel alignment is important. Simply put, all of components that make your vehicle go straight are called alignment. As I have said a  sizable pothole can bump your suspension out. Subsequently,,of the precisely calculated set of measurements. Required to that dictate proper wheel alignment.

When you have new tyres fitted then spend a little more to make sure that the alignment on your car is correct. This way you will enjoy trouble free driving. Without battling against your cars steering wheel.

hydrogen fuel cell car on tap for 2015 Newsday The next Prius, which is expected in 2015, will include improved batteries and smaller, more powerful electric motors, and will be built on the company’s new global…

Eric Roberts‘s insight:

This is great news about the Toyota’s Prius EV Hydrogen Batteries

This news is good news for the many motoring fans. Thus, who think that the future should be a mix of technologies. In the World of cars. The past twenty years alone we have seen many new developments. Of course, In the battery World.

Apart from modifying the ever present free flow lead acid batteries. So we have seen the new battery types such as AGM and GEL batteries cropping up to serve as back up Varta batteries. Hence, for many industries such as computer back up systems and even for the early computers that we all used. All this new technology was introduced along with need for progress and the appetite from consumers and industry for better and faster electrical equipment.

Toyota's Prius EV

Toyota’s Prius EV

Toyota’s Prius EV

This development has never stopped. Of late we have developed many new types of batteries. As a result, that were funded by Governments and large corporations. So, to satisfy the need of the ever expanding electrical and engineering projects. Whether they were large or small.

The next generation of batteries was to be known as the NiMH, Nickel metal hydride batteries. Mainly for use the ever expanding miniaturization of personnel computers. These were followed by the invention of the Lithium- Ion batteries . Invented in the 1990’s for use on the Stealth aircraft in the USA. Also used in the space program by NASA, the American space agency.

The latest surge in Toyota’s Prius EV development. Came when there was an urgent need to save the Earth from greenhouse gases. The main culprit is pollution from fossil fuel driven cars. So the Governments of the World. Have got together and agreed that emissions had to be reduced. This caused a frantic rush. Thus, for the car makers to come up with an alternative fuel supply. Hence, to gasoline products. Of course, the answer would be the electric or the hybrid car. At first car makers came up with the Lithium-Ion batteries and are still developing today.

Toyota’s Prius EV Looking for alternatives

However because these cars will not travel far. Of course, before the batteries require re-charging. Scientists are trying to come up with an alternative. One of the companies to do this is Toyota’s Prius EV from Japan. This new type of Toyota’s Prius EV battery is called the Hydrogen-cell battery and in my opinion will be the winner of this technology race in the future.

The car. Toyota’s Prius EV is expected to be coming onto the market as early as 2015. Already gas stations are been prepared by adding Hydrogen pumps on their forecourts. In my opinion, yet another step forward.

Some motorists may think that the ministry of transport (VOSA) are in a money making  racket. Because you have to take your car to be MOT tested every year to pass a roadworthy test. But they do not see that having those MOT tests, . Actually help prevent accidents and cut down on road deaths by keeping badly maintained vehicles off the road.

By carrying out an MOT test every year on vehicles that have been on the road for three years from their first registration, VOSA has successfully managed to lower the number of unsatisfactory cars on the road, making things safe for the rest of us.

MOT Test Safer Roads

So if you have had your car for at least three years then you need to find your nearest MOT test  station and have your car MOT tested. The easiest way is to book online, you can search for MOT Halifax if you need to find your nearest testing station if you live in the Calderdale area of West Yorkshire.

MOT Test Safer Roads-Any testing station?

It is possible to take it to any testing station to have it tested there.Consequently, you can be on your way home soon after you get a test completed. The only thing you need to know. Hence, is that they are a fully accredited testing station. Able to carry out a thorough and legal test. It is also important that they don’t let you get away with small mechanical faults. Of course that would affect  the road worthiness of your vehicle.

After all, this will defeat the whole purpose. Thus, of having the tests carried out in the first place. You want to make sure that your vehicle gets through the test as smooth as possible. As a result, there are many checks that need to be performed. During the MOT Test , your car has to meet the standard. So, for ,these checks. Consequently, you will be ready to go home in no time with a pass. The bodywork on your car needs to be in good condition. Therefore, no rusting or rotten holes. MOT Test Safer Roads-Your car could fly past the MOT test

Seat belts and seats must not be rotted and be able to keep you secured. Your brakes must still have enough pads left in them before the next brake check, and your tyres need enough tread to make sure you have the minimum legal requirements. . Make sure your lights and indicators are in good working order and your wipers must be in good condition to ensure they clear the windscreen when it is raining and the rubber blades are in good shape. Your steering and suspension need to be within regulation standards to make sure you are able to control the movement of the vehicle no loose worn parts. Your registration, plates and Vehicle identification need to be in good order as well. So look after your car and it should fly through the MOT Test Safer Roads.
