Services that we carry out at Pellon Auto Centre include wheel alignment, engine management diagnostic reading, air conditioning repairs and servicing, all other mechanical work including all types of brake work and of course tyres, batteries and exhausts and catalytic converters.
Free Courtesy Cars
Here at Pellon we try to cater for all our customer needs. Because we are slightly out of Halifax town centre, up Pellon Lane, we feel a need to help our customers to get back to work or indeed go back home. We do this in two ways: if the customer needs a lift home we can offer this service at any time of the day.
Cars can break down at any time of the day. If this happens do not worry, you can leave your car and we will chauffeur you home or to work. Some customers break down at home. If this occurs we can arrange for your vehicle to be collected and brought back to Pellon for repair, this is no problem.
The second way that we can help you is to supply a courtesy car. Our cars can be booked the same time you are booking your car in to us for any work being carried out. Courtesy cars are supplied free of charge to be used locally: all you need do is provide us with your driving licence and we will lend you a car, until your car is ready.
MOT Testing Station - MOT Testing, Pre-MOT Tests
Pellon Auto Centre is a Class 4 Certified Testing Station.
Our MOT Testing Centre is also available for diesel and catalyst vehicles. Ryan Linton and Andrew Maudsley, our two qualified MOT testers, have worked at Pellon for over 12 years.
VOSA is the main Government body that regulates the MOT system in the UK. They have a system of regulating MOT stations by a points system that they scrutinise and check the standards of the garage at regular intervals. VOSA have three layers of quality: red, amber and green. Green garages have the highest standards. More information about VOSA can be found on their website.
Pellon Autocentre has long been a Premier MOT testing station in Halifax. We are proud to be a Green standard VOSA testing station.
Pellon have a first class reception area and an MOT viewing area where you can watch your car having the MOT carried out. You can leave your vehicle, or wait in our comfortable reception and watch TV or read up to date magazines. We also can offer hot and cold drinks for customers who prefer to wait for the MOT being carried out.
Complete Vehicle Testing Services (C.V.T.S)
Pellon Autocentre is a member of CVTS. This association can be useful to solve any MOT disputes that could arise between the garage and the customer or VOSA and acts as an mediator in case of any disputes that may come to light.
CVTS also makes regular visits to the garage to help Pellon keep up standards and offer up to date information regarding recent VOSA updates and information. More information about CVTS can be found on their website.MOT Repairs

Car and Van Servicing with Autodata Information
Here at Pellon Autocentre we can offer menu servicing at competitive prices.
We service each vehicle to their individual requirements, through our Autodata computer system. This system allows us to enter the registration number and mileage of your car and the computer prints out the exact service requirements for your model of car.
Everything is listed, even the exact type of oil that your car engine needs is listed. This is very important in these days of fuel efficient engines, using low viscosity engine oils.
Customers are given a copy of the service sheet, this is important to save as part of the cars service history, for any time that they may want to sell the car.
At Pellon we also offer other useful information from the Autodata system. Useful things such as when your timing belt needs changing are noted on your service sheet. If there may be other unusual things only applicable to your model, Autodata will pick them up. In short this is a very good system to help us maintain your car.
AP Lockheed Brake Safety Centre
At Pellon Auto Centre, safety comes top of our service hierarchy and to enable us to offer a high standard of safety we use AP Lockheed parts.

BOSAL Exhaust and Catalyst Centre
At Pellon Auto Centre we like to back up our work with a good guarantee and to do this we use Bosal Exhaust Systems and Catalytic Convertors to give a two year guarantee.
